I don't think that they incompatible. He is quite hard edge and satirical, whilst she seems quite light-weight. However, she has an economics degree from Cambridge so is obviously intelligent and can be serious. Although he is cynical, he is still a humourist with a career forged from watching tv.

Do you really think he will convert to Islam? I doubt her family will be that happy for her to marry him if he doesn't.
