I'm a frequent viewer of Court TV (now TruTV) and I was watching an episode of one of the true crime/forensic shows when I nearly came out of my skin because the actor portraying the serial killer was Scott Jacoby! I was familiar with the crime they were depicting which was about the killer in Alaska who hunted his female victims in his beloved woods as if they were animal prey. His occupation was a baker.
I was a huge fan of his back in the day (the 70's!) and literally saw most of his body of work (I missed him on Broadway and never got to see Baxter!). I was passionate about everything he did and even went so far as to clip every available image and article ever written about him. When he released a pop single, I recorded (audio) his debut on American Bandstand. I would have video recorded that appearance but alas, the technology for home recording was not yet available!
Anyway, as familiar as I am with his appearance (trust me, his face/body language was much studied by me from ages 11 to 17!), I am certain that this portrayal was by Scott. The episode was several years old (2002-2004).
In the event that this was somehow not Scott Jacoby then it was a replicant who bears even more resemblence than the oft mentioned Mattew Modine!
