He was great in King of Queens but the show also had great writing. It is just that the movies he was in are badly written. I don't think he does anything wrong.

Not picking sides here but the point that he has made $80 million is pretty much pointless as he got $1 million per episode for the last season of KoQ and constantly gets repeat fee money as a producer. He probably made $78 of his $80 from that show alone.
And before you come at me, I am a huge KJ fan, KoQ is awesome and I like him in movies (except Paul Blart, they were dog beep

I think the OP just chose the wrong word. Yes he has had much financial success since King of Queens, but I think the OP was saying why does everything else he's in suck, which is a good question.

The only successful thing he's been a part of? The guy is worth 80 million, he's done sequels to films because of their box office success. Just because you personally don't seem to like the things he's been in, doesn't mean other people don't. Clearly he's been very successful since KoQ.
I agree that KoQ is probably the best thing he's done, but to say it's the only successful thing he's been a part of is just wrong.
