<p dir="auto">No, you cannot receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) if you live outside the United States for more than 30 consecutive days. However, there are some exceptions.<br />

Students who are temporarily abroad for study<br />
Children whose parents are in the military and stationed overseas<br />
Returning to the U.S.<br />
To be eligible for SSI benefits again, you must return to the U.S. and remain lawfully present for a full calendar month. This means you must be physically present for every hour of every day of any month of the year.<br />
