But this is a good photo of Carolyn

In my opinion Yvonne De Carlo was much prettier out of costume whereas Carolyn Jones was at her most beautiful when she played Morticia, the long middle-parted hair
became
her.
I prefer cold, timeless and mysterious beauty and Cb68arolyn fits that description much more. Carolyn Jones (when she was in character) was absolutely breathtaking and Yvonne never struck me in a way even close. Outside of character, Yvonne was probably prettier in the more conventional way, but I still think that Carolyn Jones was one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen when she played Morticia.

Love both, but whereas Yvonne was ab68 natural beauty, Carolyn had a nose job early in her career. Nothing wrong about that, of course, but natural beauty gets extra points in my book.

The 3rd picture of Yvonne is absolutely stunning! I'm not too big on the pictures posted of Carolyn, there are better ones but they were both pretty! I love Carolyn more thou5b4ghI probably just like Yvonne in the Munsters.

Yvonne was stunning when young but got matronly looking. Even on the Munsters she wasn't that old, in her mid 40's but looked older. Women in their 40's now look much better. Carolyn was pretty and charasmatic but I wouldn't call her stunning.
I disagree about Yvonne in her forties. In

, she still had it and then some - incredibly sexy. By her fifties, however, she started packing on the pounds.
Regarding the subject of this thread, I would have to go with Yvonne at her peak, but Carolyn was very hot in her own right. In fact, I think she was at her sexiest as Morticia. She really looked terrific with long, black hair, IMO.

I've told many that it was a shame they didn't use Carolyn and Yvonne because they both put the others to shame!

Yvonne wore a LOT of makeup as Lily,
but Carolyn didn't wear a lot of makeup
as Morticia. They both were very very
beautiful out of their makeup too!
I really liked Yvonne's 1940's
style. She was more glamorously dressed.
But I also thought she was glamorous
dressed as Lily Munster.
Carolyn's could do black and blonde
hair equally as well. In a book I saw
a photo of her with long blonde hair wich
is one of my fave movie star photos ever.
Carolyn was so interesting & pretty; She
seemed like a really nice person too.

lipstick, long wavy black hair, a small yet
curvy figure, big blue eyes and only a tiny bit
of eyeliner and mascara. (Wheras Anjelica
Huston had on almost more makeup than Yvonne!)
So I liked how Carolyn's makeup as
Morticia was more subtle/natural looking.
I still can't decide wich character I like better..
But out of makeup, they both win!
