Somebody should have steered Sam Jones into prime time soap operas during the 1980's instead of all those low-budget action films. Sam was far more handsome than any of the "hunks" on the soap operas yet he worked in a genre (action pictures, action television series) that didn't take advantage of his good looks at all.

I couldn't agree more. Men like Sam, Jon-Erik Hexum and Christopher Mayer would have been awesome on any of the prime-time 80's soaps. They were all gorgeous hunks.
