Yes she was basically cut in half- that's why when he went up to her they hadn't removed her from the car because the car was pinning her in such a way that she was mostly severed but it was holding her together. Once they moved the car she'd die pretty much instantly.

Yes she was and theres a couple of cut scenes she was in playing with Morgan and Bo.

She had 2 parts in Signs.
Her upper half and her lower half. Held together between a Jeep and a tree. Kewl.
