The Jim comment was a glib off-the-cuff remark (until you started yapping at my heels) but the Gandolfini thread became a considered debate with a point to make, all of which is there to be read and either agreed or disagreed with by anyone interested in the details.

For what it's worth, I'm a fan of Jim Kelly and Gandolfini but guess what.Jim's often dreamed of comeback has tragically been dashed along with our hopes and Gandolfini died in non mysterious circumstances due to his excessive consumption. Not too controversial a position to take I would have thought. Those two comments shouldn't be too hard to grasp.

Jim is actually in a movie called "Undercover Brother". In it he plays himself, right down to the yellow karate uniform he wore in "Enter The Dragon". He's only in it for a minute or two, but its a pretty funny cameo if you're into spy spoof movies

According to an interview from last year on AICN, he still gets offers to make films. He gets around 3 or 4 a year, but he turns almost all of them down because the films make fun of the movies he used to make, which he's very proud of.
