It appears Jimmy lost a good 20 pounds and grew out a full goatee over the summer. Maybe he's scared Colbert will steal his thunder, as Fallon already doesn't have any. I liked when he looked more modest instead of trying to be the new sex symbol of late night. It is really opposite of the whole "self-depreciating comedian" routine, and I hope he gains the weight back soon. It's the same reason I never found Carson Daly funny because he wasn't. Pretty boys should be in bands, not stand-up.

I don't usually watch Jimmy Kimmel, but cannot understand any comments about his looks.
I've never thought that he was bad looking, but with the weight loss and the beard, he looks great!
Don't like to compare looks to others, but he sort of reminds me of Eddie Cibrian. Truth is, I've heard of Eddie Cibrian's sexual prowess and endowment, but I think Jimmy would be much more fun to be with. Just my opinion, now, carry on!!

Carson Daly was never really trying to be funny. He's a talk show host the same way Bob Costas was. People don't really seem to get that.
