Many decent people go through divorces and Chris had amicable relationship with at least one of his exes whose cousin mentioned how they split amicably and just lost touch and that Chris was cool and he misses being able to joke about a 'Brady' being in the family.

Eskape Labs sold well and Chris is worth millions, ON HIS OWN with numerous investments and companies and I notice you don't mention Chris is the one who set up Toni's business to begin with and the money he asked for was what he put up for the company.
