Tina is a true groundbreaking artist, and she opened the doors for Donna Summer, Chaka Khan, Mariah and Whitney. Even lesser talent like Madonna has benefited from Tina's reign.
Beyoncs entire shtick on stage is derivative of Tina's legendary performances from the 1960s and 1970s. She wishes she had Tina's catalogue of music instead of the forgettable, lacklustre crap she keeps peddling to her shallow and easily pleased fan base.
Tina is a legend and an all-time great, Beyonc is an overrated pop tart who started out in a budget TLC.

Indeed she will never be The Queen. Tinas' respect for her is based on her ability to perform rather than being an actual cultural/artistic/legendary leader.

Also, Tina Turner was a trailblazer for survivors of domestic violence and other socio-economic inequality within the music business.
Beyonce is just a money hungry manufactured R&B pop star hack song writer and stealing choreography from other dancers.
I can't think of anything Beyonce has done for anyone less fortunate. All she does is follow trends. And she's completely Shallow and superficial black woman.

While it's true that "Rhythm Nation 1814" preceded "Lemonade", and both deal with topics of race in America, gender equality, social activism and breaking down stereotypes, to call it a "derivative" is unfair, as both films approach the topics in different ways and are totally seperate films. Beyoncé is clearly a fan of Janet and has said so many times, so I'm sure she took cues from "Rhythm Nation 1814", but an imitation of it? It is not.
"Lemonade" is intimate and layered, combining personal details, generational stories, American history and references to the America of 2016 as well. That these two films should have similarities is not unremarkable, for both Janet and Beyoncé are Black women making art in an America that suffers from major problems around race.
If you feel "Rhythm Nation 1814" (not quite a visual album, as it only showcased 3 songs) has received some unjust inattention at the expense of "Lemonade", we should take that up with the American entertainment industry itself and the way she was unceremoniously blacklisted, her career essentially ruined and legacy tarnished over one little incident (which would have played out very differently had she been white, like Justin who unlike Janet was not cancelled from the Grammys one week later, but who was allowed to appear on stage multiple times, accepting awards and performing twice).

And, again, Lemonade and its visual album are derivative of Rhythm Nation 1814, probably the first ever visual album in pop.

Any non-stan knows this. Her music is so mediocre, but the music scene today is also mediocre, which allows her stans to elevate her awful music to a higher plane.

maybe someone should make it known to Beyonce that, overall, her catalogue of music is sub-par compared to the legends before her that even Rihanna's discography sh!ts on hers.
Dearly Beloved, we are gathered here today to get through this thing called life
