America is the biggest western market in the world and to stay consistently successful there for your entire run is very impressive. Oh and Love Story was a big hit worldwide. In fact the only album of hers not to achieve Worldwide success is her debut (she's been huge in Australia).

Taylor wasn't that popular outside of America until Red in 2012. Her pop crossover and her longevity in pop music is still to be seen. She's only been relevant for most people in the world for four or five years.

She does slay them in album sales, you're right. However, they've been commerc2000ial pop artists for much longer than Swift, whose first real pop crossover came with Red, so I guess that's why I didn't think of her.

Radio didn't really support any single from Lemonade, but she still managed to sell only 20k less than Rihanna, whose singles were big hits like Work and Needed Me.

Not surprising. This was a huge era for her. But didn't Beyonce also have more singles? Formation, Hold Up, Sorry, All Night, and Daddy Lessons. Rihanna had Work, Kiss It Better, Needed Me, and Love on the Brain.

The 4 era was generally lukewarm when it came the GP. It felt like there wasn't room for Beyonce when there was Gaga, Katy and Rihanna. So Beyonce kinda only got sales from her fan base, then it died until the GP started to appreciate her again after the Super Bowl in 2013.
Love on Top would've SMASHED had she released it today. No doubt.

Agree, she releases the worst single choices ever, the only time she failed getting a #1 with a commercial song was on the 4 era, Love On Top should hava topped the charts, i didn't exactly tune up with that era, i suppose the promo was minimal, besides that song shoulda been first single.
