Agree on Halloween. A modern day Psycho!
I am OBSESSED with Blondie. Their music's fun. A lot of it is reminiscent of 50s and 60s music, but with a contemporary grittiness. And she's just stunning. Patti Smith is real weird but her music's great too.
Loving a lot of the "punk" music coming out of the UK. The Sex Pistols are so wild and The Clash are great. I found some records at this store near me that has a more esoteric selection. A group called Siouxsie and the Banshees and another one called X Ray Spex. They're a lot harder and more intense than Blondie but amazing.

I just bought The Car's debut it's amazing it may be new favourite album of the year almost as good as
Kate Bush' Hounds of Love
. I just saw Halloween - the movie everybody is talking about and it didn't disappoint. My favourite film of the year - I rank it slightly higher than "An Unmarried Woman".
