<p dir="auto">Asking for references, particularly when they are required to be professional.</p>
<ol>
<li>there is a possibility that former bosses/ coworkers may have changed their job locations and/or be unreachable. Therefore, it may be difficult to contact them.</li>
<li>It's basically judging a book by its cover, unless an employee did something drastic or extremely harmful  (such as stealing or commiting a felony) then our previous job performances shouldn't affect of chances of being hired again.<br />
Also, the race/ ethnicity question.</li>
<li>mainly because I'm considered multiracial or "mixed" and I get sick of having to explain on paper  that  I consist of multiple races causing a simple answer to turn into one big story. Lol</li>

<p dir="auto">Where they ask for your race, as if that reflects how well you will perform your job duties. For companies like Michael Kors, I personally know look policy is the most anal hiring rule. Easily on par with Abercrombie &amp; Fitch circa 2010 form of hiring.</p>
