When I went to the theater to see the movie "The Untouchables", I mistook Mrs. Elliott Ness for being Caroline whom I had seen on "The Edge of Night" (being strangled by David Cameron, played by Norman Parker) and on "As the World Turns" as Marsha Talbot's cousin who was harassed by Parker on a court bench. I had no idea who Patricia Clarkson was at the time but after seeing her as Burt Lancaster's daughter in "Rocket Gibralter" have never made the mistake again. I knew that Ms. Lagerfelt had extensive theater training and had seen her on "Murphy Brown" and later on "One Life to Live". Also recently found her as the D.A. on "Guiding Light" when Ed and Claire were accused of killing Charlotte (Beulah Garrick). In researching "Edge", I discovered recent pictures of her, and time as stood still. A great beauty!
