One of my favorite 'Rhoda' episodes from season one is 'The Shower' in which Linda plays Rhoda's rich, snooty nemesis from high school. She was SO funny and quite the scene-stealer! I wish she had made more appearances as this character it was a nice departure from her likable role as Alice.

She's quite different on "Phyllis" (ironically!) playing a young widow whom Phyllis latches onto and doesn't give space to. I half expected her to explode at Phyllis, but she seems to understand her and is never mean in spite of Phyllis's controlling nature.
