<p dir="auto">Lazenby wasn't fired, he quit on his own. I think it was something along the lines of him not seeing much stock in the future of Bond, so he decided to jump off what he thought was a sinking ship.<br />
His mistake and we all had to suffer through Diamonds Are Forever because of it.</p>
