The IMDb message boards are an international forum, in which the LGBT community from around the world is able to utilize a safe space to speak freely without fear of reprisals or oppression. Scary fact: in many countries, homosexuality is illegal, and in some places even punishable by death!
We can't risk the lives of the LGBT community by demanding that they move to social media. If they weren't afraid of being outed, they would already be on social media!
Don Lemon needs to be socially responsible and use his position in society to push back against the closing of the IMDb message boards!
Pass the word, spread it around,
IMDb LGBT are strong and proud!
