<p dir="auto">Wow.  I checked this page to see whatever happened to the guy who played Jame Gumb, and it turns out I've been watching him every week on MY NETWORK, and he's one of my favorite characters.  I mean, if not for Stottlemeyer, Monk would just be annoying.  We see Stottlemeyer tolerating Monk's eccentricities, and it makes us, the audience, want to do the same.<br />
Can you imagine two more opposite characters? Not just that one's a policeman and the other's a serial killer.  Jame Gumb was a remorseless sociopath, and Captian Stottlemeyer simply radiates love and decency.<br />
So here's a talented character actor who just got on my radar screen in a big way.  And he's got a lot of stuff coming out.</p>
