I just started watching Downton Abbey and I kept thinking that "Mrs. Hughes" looked and seemed familiar. I really couldn't place her but last night I was watching (I'm still on the 1st season of DA) and when she said something, all of a sudden her voice was super-familiar to me from Secrets & Lies, which I've seen quite a few times over the years. I wasn't totally sure if it was her though since she looks somewhat different now. Hopped on IMDB to check her name & then her credits, and sure enough, Secrets and Lies!

I also thought she looked and sounded very familiar and missed that she'd been in Secrets and Lies, until I started to watch it today for the first time in many years. That's such a great movie, though Topsy-Turvy is still my favorite Leigh flick.

i watched all 17 episodes last weekend while visiting friends.
Ms. Logan is wonderful in this. SECRETS AND LIES is one of my all time favorite films (i could watch it over and over). all the actors are superb, and Ms. Logan shines in the very "non-showy" role of Monica.
cannot wait for season 3!!!
