I note that in Ms. Lyon's biography section, an appearance on Dennis the Menance
is mentioned, yet it is not shown on her credits list. The title of the episode
was "Miss Cathcart's Sunsuit" and it was originally shown on 6.12.1960. I saw
this episode and Ms. Lyon had a very small part, perhaps b68non-speaking.
I had the pleasure of meeting Jay North here in Tallahassee, Florida where I
live back in 2003. I discussed this appearance of Ms. Lyon's. He said that
he did not personally remember it at that time. Of course, Mr. North was quite
young at the time and was having difficult personal life. Also, throughout the
four years that "Dennis" was on the air, a large number of guest performers
appeared.
Mr. North said (in 2003) that he thought that season 1 of "Dennis the Menace"
would be released soon. Does anyone know if it has been?
