I love Miriam Margoyles. SHE'S A GREAT ACTRESS! I loved her performance as Fly the Sheepdog in BABE, Grandma Rosie in BALTO, Aunt Sponge and the Glowworm in JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH, and Professor Sprout in HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS! SHE'S THE BEST ACTRESS ON PLANET EARTH! Who else thinks she's a great actress?

I'm just watching an episode of Doc Martin she's guesting on. Eileen Atkins and Ian MacNeice are also regulars. Does anyone else realise the enormity of this? Those are three of the finest actors of their generation in the UK today.

I think she's one of the best character actresses the UK has ever produced. I adore her performances in I Love You to Death, Babe, James and the Giant Peach, End of Days, Cat and Dogs, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Ladies in Lavender, to name just a few. Her TV work is extensive too - she was hilarious in Blackadder. I've never seen her on stage but hope to some day - I've been told she was fabulous in Wicked and Endgame, not to mention her own show, Dickens' Women. And who can forget her work for radio, audio books, commercials etc. You're a treasure, Miriam!
