Just read in the IMDb bio of her that the movie studio created a fake bio for her, saying such things that she first came to Hollywood with her Aunt. An ancient census shows evidence she lived in L.A. with her mother and step-father in an apartment.
She lived until 1968 and really should have written her own bio book to set things straight and embellish on the true memories of her past.
The more I study it, the greater the puzzle becomes.
