Did you ever see Diane in Black Gold?

Stella was the best actress of the three and clearly sex on wheels herself, but I don't think she could play the sophisticated beauties Diane ably handled.

I was just watching a old B movie of hers from '62 ( Black Gold ) and she was just stunning in it. I kind of prefer her over Carol, probably because of what you said in your previous post in this thread. However, in the end, I'll take Stella Stevens over either of them.

They were both blonde and beautiful, but I never thought of them as lookalikes.
Carol always seemed young and innocent in her early roles, while Diane always appeared much more mature. In fact, I thought the latter was much older than she really when I was a kid, not because she looked it, but because she seemed so much more sophisticated than everybody else on the screen.

They do look a lot alike.

I have met both and both were nice. Carol Lynley is funny as hell. Carol remembered my name after only meeting me once maybe 6 months prior and I heard rumors of her being aloof on movie sets but you'd never know it after my two encounters with her. She told me some great Hollywood stories and was very down to earth. Diane was also sweet just seemed a bit more reserved than Carol who has a ribald sense of humor.
