Jacqui's accents are amazing. I didn't know she was from OZ until TV Guide did an interview with her back during the 3rd season of 4400. She's still very successful in Oz doing theatre, but I hope she gets cast in another good series soon.

Jac Mac does a Yank accent really well. Some of our best actors chase fame and fortune in Hollywood, and sadly the Australian industry loses them.

When I first heard her on the 4400. I thought she was American. I didn't know she had an acsent until I heard her on one of the comentaries or some extra thing that was on the DVD.

I've spent lots of time studying accents, and i can pretty much tell when someone is doing a fake accent, and tell you where their from. I couldn't even tell that her accent was fake, nor that she was from Australia, which is the one i know the most. She's almost as good as Hugh Laurie from House.

wow, i just actually checked this board to see if anyone else thought her american accent was bad. it's something i've never noticed with anyone else before, but when i watched the first episode of mental, i noticed it right away. i even thought she might be from australia, and was shocked to see i was right. i'm curious to see if anyone else noticed it. i'm sure i'm not the only one who thought it was a bad american accent.
