In the 1970's I was working at Roosevelt Hospital (now St.Luke's-Roosevelt) in Manhattan and stopped at the gift shop to buy a magazine. While the clerk was ringing up my purchase I realized she was none other than Ethel Merman! I later learned she was so pleased with the care her mother had received there that she served as a volunteer for several years. The lady definitely had class.
I don't think I want to go to the pictures. Oh?Why not? I've seen everything worth seeing.
