A fan-film web-based miniseries consisting of 3 parts based on Kevin Smith's comic series.
l
We wish to make a three part web-based miniseries based on the comics written by Kevin Smith. This trailer is the result of a lot of time and hard work from all involved. Giant Penny Productions was founded by a group of friends to help each talented individual get their projects made via the use of the others talents being utilized. It was decided to go with Director William Jonathan Visnosky Jr.'s pitch of bringing the comics, written by Kevin Smith, to life and be the flagship project/calling card of the company. William is a lifelong fan of Batman and has an equal if not even bigger love of the work of Kevin Smith. "Different parts of Kevin Smith's work over the course of his career has effected me in many ways, from Clerks inspiring me to go to film school, all the way to hearing Tusk being created before my ears on episode 259 of Smodcast and truly inspiring me to move ahead with this project." This trailer was made for under $1000 on a super-shoestring budget. We would like to produce three parts of an entire miniseries that would have each part consisting of 18-30 minutes of original content. We have our budgeting set to the lowest possible amount we can to still ensure we can deliver a final result worthy of the initial content. We ask that even if you can not contribute in a financial capacity, please share the trailer across social media, tell your friends, use the hashtag #batyes. Thank you.
