I don't think he is insecure. He's talked about how if he had them fixed, it would not look authentic in period peace films so he's chosen to stay natural.

I dont know. I think it's just his style. How often do you see Daniel Craig with a big open mouthed smile? He's very much a manly, knockabout guy so to me it just suits him. If you watch him in Pusher 1 and 2 he said he basically played himself from back when he was younger. I think the area he grew up was a bit rough.
Great actor! I think he's the best of his generation right now. I noticed you saw The Hunt. Mindblowing performance. That movie wrecked me for days.

I don't know, I think he's just insecure about his teeth because he has vampire type teeth. BUT I don't care, I would still marry him, LOL!
He probably went through his childhood with kids calling him vampire or whatever which can stick with you for life.
But then again, now that he has movie money he could fix them. So that makes me think he's cool with his teeth. I don't know but he's sexy anyway

It was in an interview I read several years ago. Sorry, cant tell you what site I found that. It was about the time Hannibal started and I was binge watching his movies. Tonny in Pusher has an open mouthed smile (as mentioned above). Really suited the character.

He thinks open mouthed smiling is feminine. Plus he also knows he looks better smiling the way he normally does.

I actually just watched a Danish movie of his called The Hunt, where he is rough housing alot of kids and I DID see a few flashes of a full smile but even in this situation, the smile flashes were so quick!
I swear, I think HE is uncomfortable with his teeth and his them.
If only he realized that some of us find him attractive no matter what.

I don't think you've seen much of his films. He doesn't smile a lot in serious dramas, but there is a lot out there with big smiles. Right off the bat, I'm visualizing him with huge smiles in Pusher, Shake It, Unit 1 and Torremolinos. Also, one or two good shots in Nattens Engel and Open Hearts. That's a good start. He has a cute unique smile. You don't see 2000chiklets with this guy.
