Hi CM- I remember you from wondering whether Vera was LDS. Anyway, good to hear that she was participating in E True Hollywood Stories up until the early 2000's. And that she looked great! Do you have any of them to share on Youtube? Who were these E Stories about?
Do you know where to write her? Looks like there are a couple different addresses, one in Palm Springs and I think one in L.A.

Up until the early 2000's she participated in a couple E True Hollywood Stories and still looked great. I don't think her refusal to do interviews is health related I think she has just decided to completely retire from public appearances/granting interviews. If a fan wants an autograph and writes to her she still responds to that. She's just retired and I am sure is living a very much deserved quiet retirement away from the glitz.

I don't know how much one can read into this but I saw a recent YouTube video by a kid who got an autographed 8x10 glossy from Vera, signed to him by her (apparently). I have one myself from about 12 years ago and the handwriting looks exactly the same strong, very much in control, indicating to me at least a modicum of decent health.
