Dude come on. It's a message board for actors, actresses, movies, and TV. How deep do you want things to get?
If you haven't noticed, most actress boards are filled with the most negative beep it's hard to be on them. Almost every post is about their looks or how beep they are, almost always posted by men. If you're looking for a real decent discussion on anything at all you need to look elsewhere because IMDb is embarrassingly bad.
Side note I'm watching hey in pitch black right now this movie is great.

The 'looks like' posts have ruined IMDB. I find the imbecility of the 'looks like' threads to be quite infuriating. These posts should be banned. Also, the opinions expressed in the 'looks like' posts are rarely accurate. Even when they are accurate Who cares if two people look similar? Instead lets talk about something engaging or insightful. The whole 'looks like' phenomenon is perpetuated by people with vapid and ineffectual reasoning processes, or as you said, "simple-minded" folks.
