Have you seen the latest news regarding this? It was never meant to be a bomb. The man was a whistleblower being followed by Homeland and FBI for over a week. He was trying to expose what was being covered up in 2019. He had reached out to several independent media news sources prior to December 31st. Given he was in a VBIED (which the diverse FBI didn't know the definition of, but you'll best know they know everyone's preferred pronouns), they kept their distance but shadowed him. He never intended to "bomb" anything or anyone (he had extensive training in explosives, so he was obviously just making a statement). There are also unsubstantiated rumours circulating that given he was driving a bulletproof self-driving Tesla that "the body" (whose DNA did not match that of his son's) was loaded in the vehicle prior to being "driven" to the Trump tower and set off.
