I just realised this and am glad I'm not the only one. Omg if I could just have an hour alone with James, and Kate is my girl crush. No, I agree they actually do look alike aswell as bearing similar mannerisms, when Kate is in the l word and James is in Stargate, pretty in pink and most of all SEX LIES AND VIDEOTAPE!! Its sad to know that theres no James out there for me.

I don't want to answer for the OP but I think this line:

is key to what this person was getting at. Not that Kate literally looks like Spader but that there's something about her eyes and expressiveness, that's reminiscent of him. And now that I think about it, I kind of agree.

Omg! I saw this thread and had to speak up. I never really saw the resemblance of Kate to Jimmy Spader but now that beep is going to be in my head all night. I'm a HUGE James Spader fan. He is so beyond most actors in Hollywood, he is in his own galaxy. If Kate could capture even half the magic of him, I'd be her fan for life!
