Piers Morgan has been hated for over 20 years but he seems to be hated in the US because he's one of few in the public eye who is actually speaking SENSE when it comes to gun control.

Ask yourself why he's on American TV for a start.
Then ask yourself why he was hated when he was a tabloid editor in the UK. Then ask about the scandals and why he was fired.

I hate this man totally.
In fact, the only thing he said I've ever been fine with (which is what so many hate him most for, interestingly) was his position on gun control.
But he represents the worst of what the media, and interviewers, have become: he interviews himself, talking over the interviewee, interrupting them sentence by sentence.
It's the perfect way to avoid any substance.
He's a bit more patient of people who come on and say very safe "nice" things.

He's boring and can't generate any interesting debate. That and I don't like watching a desperate man blatantly try to boost ratings by selling himself out, and occasionally trying to get his guests to sell themselves out.

I can't speak for anyone else but I really dislike him because he thinks he speaks for all Americans when his isn't one himself.
He came here only recently and is now coming down on everyone about gun control. Who the hell does he think he is?
He has no business coming over here and getting involved in this issue, having not been born here, or even lived here until just recently.
He has no respect for the US Constitution and is just speaking to one side of the debate without the benefit of having lived under it's protections like we have.
