I've got a couple of comments.

1. Great inside stuff about Jim's lifeBUT
2. He talks about Morrison having the physical constitution of a "horse." Super healthy, no problems even after consuming tons of blow and booze. And he uses this as the basis for suspicious about Morrison's death at age 27. But that's just it. This guy partied with (and protected) a very young Jim Morrison. EVERYONE (or almost ) that I know (including myself) was able to party hard in their 20'syou're YOUNG, and the body can withstand a lot of abuse and still remain intact. It had to begin to catch up with himor
3. Didn't Morrison have a fall (or several) from jumping off a ledge/car/window, something? He could have suffered internal injuries that festered and eventually led to his death
4. Having a robust constitution doesn't matter when you're doing heroin. This guy claims Morrison never touched it. Hmmm. Pam was heavily addicted to smack, and they were pretty much inseparable once they moved to Paris. I think it's highly likely he either tried it (and it's pretty well known that China White was causing a lot of OD's back then.) or that he took it by mistake while drunk (thinking it was coke, maybe.)
5. This guy goes on and on about how much Morrison disliked fame and "the Lizard King circus." How he wanted to be a "regular guy." I find this offensive. Morrison had the LUXURY of talking the talk because he was filthy rich. In reality, a "regular guy" has to go to work every day, pay his bills, buy groceries. A "regular guy" can't hang out every night at strip clubs, throwing hundred dollar bills away like it's candy, sleeping until noon, running off to South America to meet a poet, etc.
   I really like The Doors music. As a poet, I find Morrison to be unpolishedbut hey, he was very young. The whole "I hate the limelight" crap really bugs me. He sure didn't hate the MONEY that came with the limelight, the circus, the adoring fans.
   Just my two cents. Please, no haters.
