In 1982, Robert Morse was in the HBO (I think) short subject version of the short story, Cop and the Anthem, which is about "Soapy", a homeless man who tries to get thrown in prison to get out of the cold. Even though Red Skelton had the original version, this one is just as funny, especially when he goes into a fancy restaurant, then can't pay the bill. Both versions are on YouTube; I don't know if it was ever officially released on dvd.
