Joe Morton is an intelligent, charismatic, basically FANTASTIC actor. I first noticed him as Myles Dyson in T2 when I was 9-10 years old. The way he STRUGGLED for life at the end with the ticking time bomb that would would help the lead characters move forward was outstanding. I've never seen a character GASPING for life in the way that he did in any of the 3 thousand movies I've seen since. And recently, his turn as Olivia Pope's father in Scandal is simply outstanding. Honestly, I've seen him in few other roles than these two - i think he was a death row inmate one Criminal Minds or something. But his acting prowess bases on those two roles. Simply exemplary. I hope he wins an emmy or an oscar or a SAG or some kind of prestigious award. And i hope anyone responding doesn't disparage for not knowing of ALL his awards. I mean c'mon, it's pretty good thant I comment on him at all, I watch a lot of movies and TV shows, so please don't denigrate for not being his Superfan who knows ALL about his career!
