Every time I watch Eureka, I keep thinking he does not look 60 years old. Is it me or is he one of those people who looks younger than their actual age. I'm 24 and people still say I look younger. Am I wrong in thinking this?

The way he looked back in T2 days, I always confused him with Don Cheadle. Some people just age well. My dad is 65 but - aside from his hair color, you'd think he was 40 something.

I just today realized Joe is 61. I'm flabbergasted And Mydlands, don't feel bad. I think that African-Americans do tend to "hold up" better. In my family, the only way I really see the age on relatives is they get gray hair, a few extra pounds or a paunch, but the skins stays remarkably heatlhy and smooth. Just think when Joe was on a Different World, playing the rival for Whitney Gilbert's affection, he was really in his 40's back then!!!

In Eureka, he looks in his 40s to me. So yea, he looks good for his age.
Of course, it could be because he's black, and yes I realize that sounds ignorant and racist. I don't mean it that way, though. It's just that from what I've seen black people in general don't age as harshly as white people. You'll much more easily find a wrinkly prune of a white person before a black person.
No matter the reason or my crackpot theories, Joe looks great.

You are not wrong in thinking this! He looks much younger than his age, and has for some years now. It is great to see him in a series such as Eureka, where he is a regular, for he has such small parts in most of his films (with the exception of Brother From Another Planet, of course). I never tire of seeing him, and hope that Eureka lasts so his fans can see more of him.
Though I know it can be a drag to look young when you're 24, I hope that when you are his (and my) age, people will say that YOU look much younger than your years!
