From what I read, she became a model because some agent from fashion models agency spotted her at an airport and offered her a job. The crucial point is the agent who spotted her was a woman. My point is do you think she'd be a famous model now if she had been spotted then by a man instead of a woman? I bet a male agent approaching a 14 year old girl (she was around that age back then) would be considered a paedophile and arrested immediately so much for Kate Moss' career 🙂
