Yes, that's right. It's Dec 30 in China now. It's her 2nd anniversary of her death. On Dec 30, 2003, she died of cervial cancer and she was 40 years old.
Jackie Chan's very good friend for many years. She's one of the best Hong Kong actress ever and she had an excellent skill for all of her movies.
I'll NEVER ever forget about her. After all, I have some of her films as well.
Rest In Peace, Anita Mui. May her spirit lives long!

Her passing hit me harder than I would have ever expected, and I sadly didn't even know it until two years later.
