I always feel a wave of sadness every time I encounter one of her films on TV.
Gorgeous, talented to the max, she had superstar potentialthen overcome by an unhappy life, alchohol and heart disease.
Like so many other fans, I'd just like to permanently remember her in that
charming little musical number with Sean Connery in "Darby 'O Gill".

Agreed. Janet Munro was a very beautiful woman and a damn good actress as well. She's especially fine in The Day the Earth Caught Fire.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I just saw her today in a TV broadcast of Swiss Family Robinson(1960), then looked up her biography on IMDB, and was startled and saddened to learn what happened to her, how unhappy and short her life was. And Darby O'Gill was good movie too, no matter what anybody says. That is a good way to remember her.
