I'm not gonna regard him as the best underrated actor in the biz, but he is certainly talented. I'm impressed every time I watch "American Buffalo" on the Starz network. Of course, Dustin Hoffman and Dennis Franz steal the show, but the point is Sean holds his own while acting opposite one of the best film actors and one of the best TV actors. And this is considering he was only a kid at the time! Just imagine being a child actor performing opposite Dustin Hoffman and Dennis Franz in a heavily dramatic film! But he pulled it off perfectly.

Sean is fantastic and I think that he is very handsome and he needs more recognition. He completely took over all the scenes in the Wood and he was competing with some heavy hitters. The same with the Corner. I'm so eager to see more of him.

He is one of my favorite YBA young black actors. He did carry Fresh and I loved him on the corner and eveything elsebut I didnt get to see him in miracales boys I didnt even know when that came on sighs

Yeah, his time will come, he just has to keep chipping away, and not be afraid to take a part thats totally different from what he's been doing.

He did carry Fresh and that was his first movie. If circumstances were different (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) Hollywood would have been breaking down his door with offers. He'd have been on the cover of People by now.
But everything has a season. Sean Nelson is not a flash in the pan, however, Sean will be around for a long time and I see a solid productive career ahead of him.

I agree - he is a fantastic actor. I hope someone else sees his talents and casts him in more leading roles. He could carry a movie.
