I thought so too. There's something about the shape of their faces, kind of rounded, and the eyes. A very 'soft' look. I dug up my old Xena eps and it hit me immediately. The wholesome American gal next door look, heehee.

Um well, they're both blonde but that's where the resemblance ends
Lieren Cavanaugh

YES! I just got L Word season one today and thought of Ren as soon as I saw Tina. Wouldn't it be cool for her to guest star as Tina's sister?

I could see why someone could see a very small resemblence but for me it's more like Renee O'Connor can actually act and have the characters that she play mean something while Laurel Holloman just bugs the crap out of me on that show and on everything else I've seen her in. So right off the bat, I feel that Laurel Holloman should not be even compared to someone as kick ass and beautiful as Renee O'Connor.
Plus Gabrielle could kick Tina's ass any day. Haha.

A bit?
I think there is a very strong resemblence.
In my opinion both are very attractive women, with a strong talent for acting.
It wasn't untill I started looking better at both women, and of course watching them closely in respectivly Xena and the L Word, that I was suddenly aware why I was attracted to both women. They are hotties.
