I was cutting an avocado when my hand slipped and I stabbed myself in the palm - between my index and middle finger, no on the fingers themselves but about 1/2 inch down the palm. It wasn't a big cut but it was deep and tiny white chunks were coming out of it for a few days
It took forever to heal up but I did it with butterfly closures. Now my middle finger hurts all the time, is swollen, I can't bend it as easily (it barely bends back at all) and I have lost a lot of grip strength in that hand. What did I do to myself?
