I had never heard of that movie until yesterday when I and two friends were zapping trough the tv programmes. It was so bad that it was funny and we were laughing our asses off.

the question is did the director set out to make it a parody of the Kung Fu movie genre? did he actually say that? was there evidence to this?
perhaps he just wanted to make a funny movie using old Kung Fu movies.
I too, am a fan of the Kung Fu genre, and even though I am only 21, and haven't earned my degree as of yet, I did like this movie, and I wouldn't call myself mentally disabled either.
I think that maybe, this movie and this particular topic has been taken too seriously, I mean it is, at the end of the day, just a movie.
And if it is the worst movie ever then movies like, Freddie Got Fingered,
Glitter, Spice World, UHF, etc must have done better at the box office than Kung Pow and I don't think that happened.

My opinion does come across a bit sledgehammer like but you get the point I'm trying to make.
I loved Naked Gun, Police Squad, Airplane, Kentucky Fried Movie, even Repossessed. (Bob Logan is a mate of mine)
But there are bad spoofs. This film is one of the worst.
People who find this wankstain funny are the same people who flock to see Epic Movie, that 300 spoof film and possibly even the Scary Movie films. I can't wait for Superhero!! What a blast that will be :-I

First off, let me say this: You seem like a reasonably intelligent individual, but you dont seem to be able to come up with an argument unless it is in someway shape or form insulting to the person youre arguing with. Now there are a lot of ignorant posts up on this thread, I especially liked the one about BD is psychology and marketing. College education means nothing nowadays since there are so many institutions that any dweeb with money can get an education. Im in colle2000ge now and most of the people in my tract of study are idiots. Still, rather than coming up with a well placed argument you turn to insulting them or pointing out grammatical errors (which I admit are quite stupid considering most internet browsers have spell-check built into them now). If you want to be taking seriously you have to act it and stop with the childish banter.
Now, on to my second point:

I'm sorry but that was one of the most prejudice statements I've heard in a long time. Where do you get off on saying something like that? I mean what the H E L L do you mean by "beverage they drink"? I'm assuming you mean alcoholic, judging somebody whether they like Coke or Pepsi is a little ridiculous if you ask me. I'm a vodka enthusiast myself, not sure what that makes me in your book. Also, next time try wording your punch lines a little better. Interesting statement, never seen either and have no wish to do so anytime in this life. All in all you know you do not know me in the least bit. You call me mentally deficient, and then you try to claim that that you can automatically assume that due to somebodys personal likes and dislikes you can write them off as an asinine fool. You cant go around judging people as you are. If you didnt like this movie or Steve Oedekerk for that matter that is perfectly fine. You are entitled to your own opinion and I would have no problem with you voicing yourself about the matter on these message boards, that is free speach in its finest. I personally thought Kung Pow was one of the stupidest movies I've ever seen and there are much better parody movies out there, but I had a good time watching it in a way. In todays crazy world sometimes exactly what you need though is something as mind numbing and stupid as this movie to snap you out of it and keep you sane. The minute you start spouting pompous beep is when we have a problem.
