I read her memoir and related to it a lot. I was never a super model of course but I could relate to her childhood, adolescence, young adulthood, spirituality, and mature years, and relationships with men and women, and addiction and dieting problems, all of it. I think women of my generation can relate to her life in many ways. I've recommended to my friends and my sister to read her memoir too. Her "voice" in her book speaks to many women who had many of the same problems, issues, feelings, circumstances. I'm glad she decided to share her story. One thing I would tell her besides "thank you" is she ought to watch Wild Orchid again (she wrote she only watched it once). Maybe with a friend, and some whipped vodka and orange crush(J/K)( Maybe she should just rent Blue Lagoon or Two Moon Junction and make fun of the fact she wasn't in those movies). But she wasn't that bad and the movie isn't that terrible, I've seen much worse. She did fine for a 19 year old novice to acting.
I don't think she was "chasing the buck" in writing her book. Her experiences are well told and seem to be coming from an honest place. Bravo.
