I've been asking for years. In regard to sex appeal/sassiness, maternity instinct and work ethic/common sense, how would you place each in order. Is it a landslide or do some top 1 list and go lower on another ? Wizzy Jefferson, Mabel Thomas, Florida Evans and take your pic Donna or Esther as Lamont's surrogate.

Mabel Thomas had the best qualities of those mentioned. Yes, even sex appeal. While she was overweight ,she has a pretty face and had grace.She was strong without being mean.

hmm.. my mother can and was even more severe, strong-mannered 'meaner' than old flo! yes,. i beleive we know what florida would be called TODAY..(good times role) the 'b' word.. dont we need that in families today?? STRONG discipline?

Those were some Good Actresses,Even through sometimes Weezy over acted.But
Flo, was a strong woman mostly after James died
Esther, was a Woman who ain't take no beep from no one!
Weezy, had a bit of grace and style mostly for the first 4 to 5 seasons.
Donna, was a nice woman,but can get a temper if you press her buttons.
Mabel,was a Rough woman, Take no None Sense from no one in her family.
