A co-worker thought LaWanda was in Cotton Comes to Harlem; I think she was in that movie or its sequel Come Back Charleston Blue; neither movie has her credited at all. Was she in one of those movies or are we wrong?

She was in the movie Cotton Comes to Harlem. In the middle of the movie they show a con artist pretending to paint La Wanda's portrait on the sidewalk. He's really distracting her while his associate is trying to steal her purse. I believe that's when someone gets hit by a car and his body flies up into the air.
