If you look at the two current Bond girls, they're talentless models just happy to be there. Archie Panjabi is too good for the role. She could however play a smart spy in a James Bond movie.

It's different with the new bond series. All the bond girls, even the ones in minor roles, have gone on to star in other big movies. Also I didn't say it would be leading role, but exposure to GET leading roles.

rotfl are you kidding me?! She's way too talented to play a half naked bimbo in a moronic movie! and do Bond Girls have 'leading roles'? I thought they were just there to be screwed by the hero and look pretty while wearing as little clothing as possible.
Also since when being a Bond Girl is a path to a worldwide career? Here are a few names, tell me if anyone who didn't already have a career before being in a Bond movie became a superstar Caterina Murino, Rachel Grant, Izabella Scorupco, Carey Lowell, Cecilie Thomsen any ring a bell?
I think her part in The Good Wife or other US tv shows are more likely to bring her exposure than being a Bond Girl. Besides she's made a name for herself, has had plenty of leads in smaller indies, maybe that's what she wants. To be able to play interesting parts in small movies rather than being offered parts in huge movies where all she has to do is look pretty!
