He was on an episode of Disney's 'Suite Life on Deck' S1 ep #2 "Parrot Island" which aired originally on 9/27/08. He not only had gained weight, he was extremely obese. I don't know what happen with the gel shoe supports contract but clearly he stopped walking but kept eating a lot.
I wish I had a Kryptonite cross, because then I could keep Dracula & Superman away.
