I saw on the Luke Cage forum that he was picked to play Danny Rand/Iron Fist. Anyone else hear or see something similar? I know he's already played Toad, but I think if they got someone with actual martial arts experience an Iron Fist movie would be awesome.

According to a Wiki page I Googled, Ray originally signed to play the role of Danny Rand/Iron Fist back in 2001.
Even though 10 years older, I think Ray could still pull it off. However, since he took the role of Toad in the X-Men franchise, I feel that should disqualify him as an option. (I realize Chris Evans plays two Marvel roles, and imo that is a mistake as well.)
My personal choice for the lead in Iron Fist at this time would be Daniell Edwards .(check out 'Pistoleros').

I had the honor of meeting Mr. Park recently at a convention, where I asked him about that very subject. He informed me that he had indeed signed a contract to play Iron Fist a few years ago, when the project was first brought to the studio. However, due to various setbacks, he is currently unsure if/when the film will be made, or even if his contract is still valid or if the studio will recast.
